FCE is a Mechanical and Electrical Installation company with additional Contracting and Consulting capabilities serving commercial, private, water and related industries. It is generally acknowledged that there are not enough specialised contractors that can be relied upon to meet the quality demands of small to medium size contracts.

FCE will meet this need by providing a blend of Mechanical, Electrical and associated Civil, Engineering services to regional Water Plc's, Private Companies, Local Authorities and other private sector industries.

STAFF & PERSONNEL

Company policy is to recruit individuals who are qualified electrical and mechanical engineers with the relevant industry experience.

Site personnel will be led by skilled, time served, technician/fitters.

TRAINING

Site managers and personnel are trained for the following:

• Entry procedures and working in confined spaces
• Use of breathing apparatus
• Fire protection and emergency lighting systems
• Other necessary safety equipment
• Correct use and procedures of relevant plant and equipment
• Familiarity with customers' individual Health & Safety requirements.

Regular reviews and updating of training procedures will be undertaken to keep abreast of changing regulations.All relevant personnel will be medically screened for restricted operations working to comply with safe working procedures

HEALTH & SAFETY

The company's "Health & Safety at Work" policy statement ensures compliance with the regulations necessary for the maintenance of a safe working environment. This will include the Health & Safety at Work Act, 1974, CDM regulations and other statutory regulations.

All necessary training and equipment will be provided to comply with the policy statement, such as gas monitors, S.A.V.E.R. sets, manriding hoists, harness and line, together with the usual protective clothing, hard-hats etc.

INSURANCE

The company is properly insured for Public/Products Liability up to £5,000,000, Employers Liability and Contractors All Risks.
