Airflex has been independently assessed by Sheffield Hallam University in a comparative test using 200mm of Glass Wool. The test results showed that Airflex was 44% MORE efficient than 200mm of Glass Wool.

Using these results we can achieve a 1.5 U Value without other insulations combined.

However, BBA. LABC, IAB, CSTB and other major organisations do not accept this method of testing.

What they do accept however is if Multi Foils are tested with another insulation combined. Airflex has been tested using additional insulation and is now accepted by LABC & BBA.
