TORO TURF MAINTENANCE MACHINERY
Favoured by many of the country’s top Premier League football clubs, sporting venues and golf courses, as well as landscaping and local authority groundsmen everywhere, the Toro range spans professional-performance mowers, utility vehicles, bunker management units, aerators, sprayers and renovation equipment.
Toro machinery is the perfect choice for public sector and local authority turf professionals. Why? For one, each and every machine has been expertly designed with the needs and comfort of the operator in mind.
Working long-hours on mowers and other equipment can take its toll, so Toro’s design team is dedicated to making its machines a joy to use. Seats are correctly positioned to prevent driver fatigue and provide a clear, unobstructed view; engines are quiet to run; gear sticks, levers and controls are within easy reach and user-friendly to operate; and cutting units and other attachments are simple and quick to change.
What’s more, the high productivity of Toro machines – particularly the unrivalled quality of cut and finish produced by Toro’s extensive mower range – ensures you get the job done quickly and effectively, and to the high standards you require.
As with anything in life, the very best requires a little more to begin with. But Toro believes the extra short-term expenditure pays dividends in the long-term – Toro buyers typically benefit from the machinery’s superior build-quality, longer lifespan and greater trade-in value. Running costs, downtime and parts/labour costs are also significantly reduced.
But when you do need it, Toro also boasts a service and parts support network that’s second-to-none.
So when you add it all up, investing in a Toro fleet is the smartest and most cost-effective move you can make.

Recycler technology: Many Toro mowers, including pedestrian and ride-on models, are equipped with Toro’s famed Recycler technology. By chopping grass cuttings into tiny particles and then firing them back into the turf where they quickly decompose, these clever mowers give a valuable nutrient and moisture boost for a healthier sward while also reducing the need for watering and fertilising. Time saved collecting and disposing of cuttings also frees up manpower for other projects.
Nationwide demonstration team: Before you sign on the dotted line for new kit, you need to know it’s right for you and the job in hand. That’s why Toro distributor Lely has a nationwide demonstration team ready to come to you so you can see the strengths of its machinery for yourself. Simply contact your local dealer and name the machine you want to demo. The demonstration team will share their expert knowledge with you – you’ll be able to pick their brains on how the machines are built, how they are best operated and learn the most effective ways of keeping them in first-class condition and free from big maintenance bills. And best of all, you get to test-drive the machines yourself, on your home turf. It’s a free service available all year round.
Toro Protection Plus (TPP): Aiming to provide the turf industry’s most comprehensive machinery protection, Toro’s TPP plan enables customers to protect themselves against unexpected repair bills, leaving you free to manage maintenance budgets to the penny. TPP gives extended protection on commercial equipment beyond the company’s industry-leading standard two-year warranty for up to another three years, therefore providing cover for a total of five years. Costs can be built into customers’ operating budgets to help you stay-on budget and avoid repair costs from failure of a defective part or assembly. The seamless cover provided includes protection against mechanical breakdowns, with any repairs carried out by qualified Toro technicians using genuine Toro parts, and is also available on pre-owned machinery as well as new purchases. Overall, TPP offers excellent value for money as the cost of any repair could far exceed the cost of a plan, plus locks in current prices for the cost of future repairs.
