About Us:
Vikoma International is the world leading designer and manufacturer of oil spill response and pollution control equipment.
The key to effective emergency pollution response is a combination of speed of response, effective oil recovery methods and the expertise to manage the situation. Vikoma provide equipment and training to allow operators and emergency response teams to manage and co-ordinate oil spill clean up in the majority of situations.
Vikoma was first established in 1967 by BP (British Petroleum) in response to the infamous Torrey Canyon oil spill off the south coast of England. The company has its head quarters, design and manufacturing base on the Isle of Wight (UK).
We pride ourselves on innovation, reliability and quality - we believe we are the only manufacturer of oil spill response equipment in the world, to hold ISO 9001:2000 across the whole process of sales, design, development, manufacture, installation and commissioning.
The Vikoma brand has an unequalled reputation around the world and has set the standard for design and production of oil spill containment booms and skimmers for use in marine and industrial situations.
Vikoma manufactures a range of products to contain and clean up spilled oil in offshore, inshore, coastal, shoreline, rivers and lakes - as well as intertidal and shallow water situations such as marshes or beaches.
In addition to specialised equipment designed for emergency oil spill response, we also design & manufacture a range of industrial skimmers for oil & water separation in industrial environments, such as managing oily water in separator tanks, run off, in cooling water & for water inlet protection.
